On September 21, 2026, Virtana Service Observability documentation for Cloud is moving from docs.zenoss.io to the Virtana documentation site at https://docs.virtana.com/en/service-observability.html. This change is part of our larger initiative to create a unified Virtana Platform experience.
What is changing?
Beginning September 21, 2026, the latest Cloud and Collection Zone documentation for Virtana Service Observability will be available at https://docs.virtana.com/en/service-observability.html. The current Cloud documentation on docs.zenoss.io will remain available until January 31, 2027, but it will no longer be updated after the migration.
To ensure access to the latest product information, feature updates, and documentation improvements, update any bookmarks or saved links that point to Cloud documentation on docs.zenoss.io.
Who is affected?
This announcement is intended for current users and administrators of the former Zenoss Cloud product, now known as Virtana Service Observability.
What is not changing?
- Virtana ZenPack documentation is not moving as part of this migration. Continue to access ZenPack documentation at https://zenpacks.zenoss.io/ until further notice.
- Virtana Service Dynamics documentation is not moving as part of this migration. Continue to access VSD documentation at https://docs.zenoss.io/ until further notice.
What do users need to do?
- Use https://docs.virtana.com/en/service-observability.html for Virtana Service Observability Cloud documentation beginning September 21, 2026.
- Update any bookmarks or saved links that point to Cloud documentation on docs.zenoss.io so you continue to receive the latest Virtana Service Observability documentation and feature updates.
