03/30/2017 - ZenPack Release: Microsoft Windows 2.7.0

Version 2.7.0 of the Microsoft Windows ZenPack (ZenPacks.zenoss.Microsoft.Windows) has been released.

This release is compatible with Zenoss versions 4.2 - 5.2, and has the following requirements.

  • ZenPacks.zenoss.PythonCollector >= 1.4 
  • ZenPacks.zenoss.ZenPackLib >= 2.0.5

The following changes have been made since the previous release: 2.6.11.

  • Added support for Hard Disk association with storage servers
  • Added Session Management to lower number of connections to Windows Servers
  • Added option to specify winrm envelope size
  • Added ability to allow multiple KDCs for single domain
  • Added ability to specify user supplied kerberos configuration directory
  • Added support for Windows Server 2016
  • Added support for SQL Server 2014, 2016
  • Added Paused as valid Windows Service state to monitor
  • Improved support for SQL Server database Status
  • Fix ShellDataSource Doesn't Associate Event Severity or Class from Data Sources (ZPS-491)
  • Fix Modifying the WinService template causes parallel reindexing of the same components (ZPS-570)
  • Fix MicrosoftWindows - Device status become down after adding device using local authentication (ZPS-713)
  • Fix Windows ZP Does not allow compatible ports of 80/443 to be used (ZPS-622)
  • Fix Windows ZenPack may not properly detect IIS on 2012 servers. (ZPS-719)
  • Fix Long MSSQL Database names aren't parsed correctly because they exceed the powershell shell width (ZPS-944)
  • Mitigate RRD data losses associated with ZPL conversion (ZPS-1204)
